A beautiful, peaceful location, Springwood B&B is situated in the small fishing village of Seahouses on the Heritage Coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
With possibly the best sea and country views in the area we have the rugged Cheviot Hills to the west, Dunstanburgh Castle to the south and some of the best golden, sandy beaches you will find anywhere.
A special place to stay in Northumberland, our boutique B&B rooms have their own contemporary style, with beautiful furnishings to ensure you have a comfortable relaxing stay. Although not currently Visit England accredited, we are proud to have been awarded a Visit Britain gold award for our services and attention to detail and a Breakfast award in the past.
Delicious Northumbrian breakfast is served at individual tables in the dining room, a varied menu selection, with bacon and award winning sausages from the local butcher and fish from Swallows of Seahouses. We also have our own hens which give us wonderful free range eggs.
Relax in the upstairs lounge, read, play pool or watch the horses grazing outside your window.
We have a lovely garden and 70 acres of land with walks next to Seahouses Golf Course and Beach.
Seahouses harbour is a few minutes walk away, where you can take boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the famous bird sanctuary and grey seal colony. To the north and voted one of Britain’s best views, is Bamburgh Castle (3 miles) and a little further north is Lindisfarne: the “Holy Island”. Alnwick Castle (where the Harry Potter films were made) and gardens are a twenty minute drive away.
